I think you've missed out a bit. Should'nt your expression be, a^(−1)×b^(−1)
Now a^(-1) is just the inverse of a. i.e. a^(-1) = 1/a
Ando so also, b^(-1) = 1/b.
So, then a^(-1)*b^(-1) = (1/a)*(1/b) = 1/(ab)
Answer: a^(-1)*b^(-1) = 1/(ab)
