when first learning to graph try using an x-y table. Since it is an absolute value it will make a V, the greater than means to use a dotted line instead of solid and shade above the graph.
-x+4 =0 at x=4 so use x=3, 4, and 5
when x=3 y=2
when x=4 y=1
when x=5 y=2 (notice the repetition of y=2)
plot these 3 points and draw your v, again using a dotted line, then shade "above" in this case it would be shading the inside of the v
