if P= perimeter and L = length and W = width then we can write the equation for this problem as follows:

 

L=2W+1

P=50

50= 2W + 1 + 2W+1 + W + W

50=6W + 2

-2   -2

48 = 6W

W = 8

L= 2 X 8 + 1

L= 17

That is rude of ya dude.
Perimeter is just twice of length added to twice of breadth.
Area is just length times breadth (not that you will use it here).
The area of a piece of rectangle paper is !00cm(squared) and its perimeter is 58cm.  What are its dimensions?
