Problem: solve y= 5x+2, x=6-3y. this is systems of equations :)
please help me l0l
1) y = 5x + 2
2) x = 6 - 3y
Substitute the value of y, from equation 1, into equation 2.
x = 6 - 3y
x = 6 - 3(5x + 2)
x = 6 - 15x - 6
x + 15x = 6 - 15x - 6 + 15x
16x = 6 - 6
16x = 0
x = 0
Use that to solve for y.
y = 5x + 2
y = 5(0) + 2
y = 0 + 2
y = 2
Check.
x = 6 - 3y
0 = 6 - 3(2)
0 = 6 - 6
0 = 0
Answer: x = 0, y = 2
