How do I solve for "w" and (1-w) in equation w x 2.5907 + (1-w) x 1.9234
I need to solve for w and then (1-w)
That is NOT an equation, it is only an expression. Notice that there is no
equal sign and no value that the expression is equal to. Until we have a
complete equation, there is no way to solve for w. As for (1-w), that will
be taken care of while solving for w. You would be adding (1.9234 - 1.9234w).
The expression becomes 2.5907w + 1.9234 - 1.9234w, but that still is not an
equation. Does that equal 5? Does it equal 43.78? Does it equal 3000? We
need to know.
