0+50*1-60-60*0+10=
by
The answer is 0 beacause you use bodmass to times the 50 by 1 and the 60 by 0 first, this is how it shold look 0+(50x1)-60-(60x0)+10 which can be simplified to 50-60 +10.

0+50X1-60-60X0+1= 0

P.E.M.D.A.S

Multiply 50*1=50

Multiply 60*0=0

ur left with 0+50-60-0+10

50-60=-10

-10-0=-10

-10+10=0

YOUR WELCOME (:

use pemdas so it will be easier

My Dear Aunt Sally - Multiply, Divide, Add, Subtract

0 + 50x1 - 60 - 60x0 + 10

multiply first

50x1 = 50

60x0 = 0

Add next

0+50 = 50

0+10 = 10

final is sutract

50 - 60 + 10 = 0

answer is 0

multiply 60*0 den 50*1 den add 50-60 den go for -10+10 den u get d answer

My method... 0+50x1-60-60x0+10 0+50x1-60+10 0+50-60+10 50-70 =20 Parentheses Exponents Multiplication Division Addition Subtraction Muiltiply from right to left Its not a book don't go left To right
by
0+50x1-60-60x0+10. Even though PEMDAS is a standardized mechanical method, you ALWAYS perform addition and multiplication left-to-right. Therefore you would start by adding 0+50 because it is done left-to-right. Then, you are left with 50-60-60x0+10. Next, you multiply 60x0, because, once again, it is performed left-to-right. Now you have left 50-60-0+10. Then, you add 0+10 because of the left-to-right rule. Now, you are left with 50-60-10. Naturally, left-right subraction occurs. 50-60=(-10) and (-10)-10=(-20).

0+50x1-60-60x0+10=(-20)

0 + 50 x 1 - 60 - 60 x 0 + 10

0 + (50 x 1) - 60 - (60 x 0) + 10

0 + 50 - 60 - 0 + 10

50 - 60 - 0 + 10

-10 - 0 + 10

-10 + 10 = 0

The answer is 0
by
ok i dont get it to me 0+50 = 50 x1 = 50-60 = -10 -60 = -70 x0 = 0+10 = 10! I HATE MATHS!

(---) first then mult and division next exponents, then addition and subtraction working fromleft to right

This is grade 2 or something maths... But since I never payed attention in class and dropped out of school when I was 15 I never knew how to calculate these little "tricky" "simple looking" equations either. I knew there must be some sort of a trick because people would post equations like this on their social network pages.. THERE HAD TO BE A TRICK...

This forced me to get on the internet and educate myself what and where the "trickery" lies..

Now I could give you the answer to this, but I think it's much better if I help you on the way of educating urself like I did myself. (The important part is HOW U DO THE EQUATION, NOT WHAT THE ANSWER IS!)

So I'm going to give you a little hint (well okay 2 hints) on what you should type in google and read about, two terms;
"PEMDAS" and "Order Of Operations".

Good luck solving your problem.
by
0 use order of operations. PEMDAS. 0+50*1-60-60*0+10 Multiply first 50+1=50 60*0=0 Now you have 0+50-60+0+10 Now just do it from left to right 0+50=50-60=-10+0=-10+10=0
by
0 + 50 x 1 - 60 - 60 x 0 + 10 =??

Using BODMAS (Brackets of Division, Multiplication, Addition, Subtraction) rule....

So no brackets and division and hence multiply first....

Hence 0 + 50 - 60 - 0 + 10

Now solve addition now....

Hence 50 - 60 - 10, Now solve subtraction...

Hence - 10 - 10 = -20

My answer is ( - 20)

Do mail me the right answer as lot of contradictions around...
by
The answer is 0 because

0×50×1=50-60-60×0=-10+10=0
by
Where does it say that PEMDAS must be used?  Without parethesis being there why is it assumed they are there?  Isn't that rather presumptuous to believe that is the problem to be solved rather than merely working from left to right?
by

0 + (50 x 1)- 60 - (60 x 0 )=

0+(50) -60 - (0)=

0+50 - 60 -0 =

-10

by
(BOMDAS)

50 x 1 = 50

60 x 0 = 0

0 + 50 = 50

50 - 60 = -10

-10 + 10 = 0
by
0 + 50 x 1 - 60 - 60 x 0 + 10 =

0 + 50 =50 x 1=50 - 60=-10 - 60=-70 x 0=-70 + 10= -60
by
My answer for the above is 10. This is how i worked it out:

0+50=50

50x1=50

50-60=-10

-10-60=-70

-70x0=0

0+10=10
by
in the end it is multiplied by a 0 which is equal to 0 + 10 is equal to 10

is the way in which i worked because im not changing the equation

0 + 50 x 1 - 60 - 60 x 0 + 10 =??   Remember PEMDAS

step 1: no parenthisis.

step 2:  no exponents

step 3 multiply and divide across the line.

0 + 50 - 60 - 60 x 0 + 10 =

0 + 50 - 60 + 10 =

step 4: add and subtract across line.

50 - 60 + 10 =

-10 + 10 =

0

I don't understand how people keep getting 0.

0+50x1-60-60x0+10

multiplication first

0+50-60-0+10

addition next
The 10 becomes negative because 0+10 is seperate.
50-60-10

Subtraction last

solve left to right

50-60 is -10 and then -10-10 is -20
by
0+50x1-60-60x0+10= 0+50-60-0+10= 50-60-10= -10-10= =-20
by
0+50×1-60-60×0+10= / / / / 50×1 50 +10=60 Cancel out all 0's before multiply first rule 60-60=0 now problem equation in rule multiply first from equation 50×1+10 50+10= 60
by Level 1 User (180 points)
for me it's 500

0+50x1-60-60x0+10 = 500

groupings:

(0+50) x (1-60-60) x (0+10)

(50) x (1) x (10)

50 x 1 x 10 = 500
by
remember My Dear Aunt Sally: multiply divide add subtract

0+50*1-60-60*0+10=

0+50-60+10=

50-50=0
by
If it has no parentheses, then It is linear, and the answer would be 10
by

No, I can't answer it becasue ther is no answer. Here let me explain. One could do this, (0)+(50x1)-(60-60)x(0+10) or (0+50)x(1-60)-(60x0)+10 or 0+(50)x(1)-(60-60)x(0+10) or (0+50)x(1-60)-(60x0)+10 or (0+50x1)-(60-60x0)+10 or (0+50x1-60)-(60x0+10), get it? Without the predetermined parenthesis in the equation there is no one answer, in fact, there is no answer cuz this ain't even an equation, it's gibberish.
