Because the arc lengths angle BOC=COD because OB, OC and OD are radii. BOC+COD=DOB=2n so BOC=COD=2n/2=n. Angle COD=n is the external angle to isosceles triangle OAD, where angles CAD=OAD=ODA. COD=n=OAD+ODA, so CAD+OAD=ODA=n/2.
