Natural numbers are those we use for counting: 1, 2, 3, etc. This set of numbers coincides with strictly positive integers. But integers include zero and negative numbers which are the additive inverse of the natural numbers. So for example, -1 is the additive inverse of 1. Therefore the set of integers is greater than the set of natural numbers; or, put another way, natural numbers form a subset of the integers.
