I think what there asking is this...
First, the difference means to subtract from each other. In this case that equals 5.
Second, the product means to multiply numbers. In this case that equals 14.
Though it may take a few minutes write a list of ALL numbers when multiplied = 14.
Such as:
1 * 14
2 * 7 ...
Go all the way up to 14, taking out any numbers that don't work such as 3. Since no number times 3 = 14. Include numbers that may be backwards such as 1 * 14 AND 14 *1.
I am assuming you have that list....so
Find two numbers on that multipication list that when subtracted equal 5. In other words take out the multiplication symbol replace it with a subtraction sign. These two numbers should equal 5.
These are the two numbers they are talking about. Put the digits together. No signs.
