First find the total number of inches. 87 bricks times 8 in per brick

8*87=696inches

There are 12 inches in each foot to convert we put inches on the top left and bottom right of a fraction

696 in       1 Ft

--------- x -----------

     1           12 in

the inches units cancel and we get 696/12 ft

do the division to get 58 feet
