=the sum of two consecutive odd integers is 21 less than three times the larger integer

the integers would be x and x+2

to find their values:

x+x+2=3(x+2)-21

2x+2=3x+6-21

2-6+21=3x-2x

17=x

the smaller integer =17

larger = x+2 = 19

check

17+19=3(19)-21

36=36
