The book says the anwser to this is: Addition Property beause XY was added to both sides. I do not underside why we would add XY to both sides. What is given to explain why we would add. What am I missing? Please explain in greive detail I have completed over 30 problems on Properties of Equailty or Congruence, and have found the correct property in each, but I am missing something with this one. Help!
