4x -3y = -24 first we need to get into this form: y = mx +b meaning we solve for y.

subtract 4x from both sides

-3y=-24-4x divide -3 to both sides

y = (-24-4x)/-3 we simplify -24/-3 = 8

y=8+4/3x (negative sign infront of 3 cancels out with the - )

y intercept is 8

x intercept is -10.6667
