line 1...2x+4y=28  or 4x+8y=56, or x+2y=14

line 2...5x+8y=58

line2 - line1...(5x-4x) +(8y-8y)=58-56

x=2

from line1, 2y=14-x, so y=7-x/2=7-1

y=6
