Which is greater 7/10 or 11/15?

Make the denominators the same.

Make the denomionator for the 1st fraction 150 by multiplying top and bottom by 15.

7/10 = (7/10)*(15/15) = 105/150

Make the denomionator for the 2nd fraction 150 by multiplying top and bottom by 10.

11/15 = (11/15)*(10/10) = 110/150

Now which is greater: 105/150 or 110/150

And the answer is: 110/150 = 11/15
