(16a^8 b^-4)^1/4 Let's do it seperately:

16^1/4=(2^4)^1/4=2^(4*1/4)=2^1=2

(a^8)^1/4=a^(8*1/4)=a^2

(b^(-4))^1/4=b^(-1)=1/b

Let's put it all together: 2a^2/b
