What is the radius of the earth 4000 miles. The sun is approx. 109 times as wide. Find the sum radius?

radius is half of the diameter, we need the diameter.  multiply the radius by 2

4000 * 2 = 8000

now multiply by 109

8000 * 109 = 872000 is the diameter of the sun

872000/2 = 436000 is the radius
