me assume that grabage shood be

(x/2) -(3/x^2) +8 -16 =(6/x) -4

become (x/2) -(6/x) -(3/x^2) -8+4=0.....-4=0

or 0.5x^3 -6x -3 -4x^2=0

or x^3  -8x^2 -12x -6=0
