I have 642 Units occupied and 164 are vendors, what percentage is vendors?

To find the percentage of something you divide the amount you want to know about by the whole.  In this case the number of vendors by the number of units:

 

164/642= 0.255

 

This gives you a decimal to convert this to a percent multiply it by 100

 

0.255*100= 25.5

 

So 25.5% of the units are occupied by vendors
