I need help to write a program in C++ for : generalised version of the Fibonacci numbers

Question

The user enters how long the series will be. In addition the user gives an additional parameter k and the first k values. The rest of the series is formed by the following rule for i>k
H(i)= H(i-k) + H(i-k+1) +.....+ H(i-2) + H(i-1)
