You have to draw an equilateral triangle and split it down the middle from the vertex. (tip) Then, label the dotted line 21 and the base (bottom) is n. To figure it out, you have to take the formula A= 1/2 bh and plug it into the problem. So, 126= 1/2x21(n). Now aftre this, I am totally lost. Any help? (:

If the area of the triangle is 126mm and the height is 21mm, what is the lenght of the base?

area = b * h / 2

126 = b * 21 / 2

b = 126 * 2/21

b = 6*2

b = 12 mm
