1936 was a leap year and birth date is before February 29 1936. Between 1936 and 2014 there are 20 leap years. To work this out subtract 1936 from 2012, the last leap year. Then we divide by 4: (2012-1936)/4=19 where 1936 is leap year 0 and 2012 is leap year 19. That's 20 altogether. The number of days between 1 Jan 1936 to Feb 13 is 31+13=44, leaving 366-44=322 days up to the end of 1936. The number of days between 2 Nov 2014 till the end of the year is 28+31=59, so from the beginning of the year there are 365-59=306 days. The number of days between 1 Jan 1937 to 1 Jan 2014 is 365*77+19=28,124. Now we add the residual 322+306=628 days, making 28,124+628=28,752 days.

Another way of doing the calculation is to work in whole numbers of years, i.e., from 13 February 1936 to 13 February 2015. That's 79 years of 365 days plus 20 leap days=28,855. Subtract the number of days from 2 November 2014 up to 13 February 2015=28+31+31+13=103 days. 28,855-103=28,752 days.
