Draw a horizontal line for the base TU 8cm long. Take your protractor and measure an (acute) angle of 70 degrees at T sloping to the right (/) and at U sloping to the left (\). These sloping lines form the sides of the trapezoid. Measure 3cm along each line then join them at the top to make SV parallel to TU. That completes the figure.
