It is easier in this case to convert 0.75 to a fraction 3/4. Dividing by a fraction is the same as multiplying by its inverse 4/3, so 4/3*239=956/3=318.667 (318 2/3). To divide by the decimal we can multiply 239 and 0.75 by 100 to get rid of the decimal, so we have 23900/75, which gives us the same answer but by long division.
