evaluate for h(1/3). show all your work

h(x) = 2 x^2 - x

h(1/3) = 2(1/3)^2 - 1/3

h(1/3) = 2/9 - 1/3

h(1/3) = 2/9 - 1*3/(3*3)

h(1/3) = 2/9 - 3/9

h(1/3) = (2 - 3)/9

h(1/3) = - 1/9

not getting the answer...think it as a case of exponential function(e'x)
by
h(1/3) = 2(1/3*2)-1/3

h(1/3) = 1/9-1/3

h(1/3) = 1/9-3/9

h(1/3) = -2/9
by
h(x) =   2 x^2 - x, h(1/3)

       =   2 (1/3)^2 -1/3     Substitute all values of x with 1/3.

       =   2 (1/9) - 1/3        Simplify using the order of operations.  (1/3)^2 = 1/9.

        =  2/9 - 1/3              Multiply 2 and (1/9).

        =  2/9 - 3/9              Find common denominator and subtract.  1/3 = 3/9 using 3 as the scale factor.

        = -1/9                      Final answer
by

h(x) = 2 x^2 - x

h(1/3) = 2(1/3)^2 - 1/3

h(1/3) = 2/9 - 1/3

h(1/3) = 2/9 - 1*3/(3*3)

h(1/3) = 2/9 - 3/9

h(1/3) = (2 - 3)/9

h(1/3) = - 1/9
