Problem: solve the inequality for y 5≥y-1
solve for y in the inequality ,

5 ≥ y - 1
5 + 1 ≥ y - 1 + 1
6 ≥ y

This says that 6 is greater than OR EQUAL TO y.
So y can be 6, or it can be any number smaller
than 6.
