-0.3(x-4)+x=0.5(3-x)

-0.3x +1.2 +x = 1.5 - 0.5x

0.7x + 1.2 = 1.5 - 0.5x

(add 0.5x to both sides)

1.2x + 1.2 = 1.5

(subtract 1.2 from both sides)

1.2x = 0.3

(divide by 1.2 on both sides)

x = 0.3 / 1.2

x = 4
