15 4/5=7 1/2+x/4.

x/4=15+4/5 - (7+1/2)

x/4=15-7+4/5-1/2=8+(8-5)/10=8+3/10=83/10

x=4*83/10=2*83/5=166/5=165/5+1/5=33 1/5

fifthteen and four fifths equals seven and one half plus x divided by four what is x

OK, let's turn this text into maths.

15 + 4/5 = (7 1/2) + x/4

(15 4/5) - (7 1/2) = x/4

(15 - 7) + (4/5 - 1/2) = x/4

8 + (8/10 - 5/10) = x/4

8 + 3/10 = x/4

(80 + 3)/10 = x/4

83/10 = x/4

x = 4*83/10 = 166/5

x = 166/5
