She missed 3 questions, which means she didn't get them right, so she lost 3*2=6 points. To break even (end up with zero points) she must answer 2 questions correctly because 2*3=6 points are won for two correct answers. Remember that loss is negative (-6) and gain is positive (6). So answer 2.
