What is 191 ÷ 200 × 8 turned into a decimal

Well, 191 ÷ 200 × 8 is the same as 191 x 8 ÷ 200

And 8 ÷ 200 is the same as 4 ÷ 100

So 191 x 8 ÷ 200 is the same as 191 x 4 ÷ 100

And 191 x 4 ÷ 100 = (191 x 4) ÷ 100

(191 x 4) ÷ 100 = 764 ÷ 100

When dividing by 100, all you do is move the decimal point two places to the left.

Since 764 is the same as 764.0, then

764 ÷ 100 = 764.0 ÷ 100 = 7.64

Answer: 7.64
