The volume is 4840 cc so the cross-sectional area is 4840/250=484/25 sq cm. This cross-section is a square whose side is sqrt(484/25)=22/5=4.4cm.

4840=250*X*X

Square root 4840/250=X

X=4.4cm

Sorry I don't know what character to use for the Square root.
