Finding mass of eight 16 year old boys. When four 12 year old boys has their mass of 144kg

we are going to make some assumptionms here.

1st assumption: all 12 year old boys have the same weight.

2nd assumption: all 16 year old boys have the same weight.

3rd assumption: weight increases from 12 to 16 years at a constant rate.

we have 4 boys weighing 144 kg,

Therefore each 12 year old boy weighs 36 kg

Using our 3rd assumption, at age 16, the child's weight would be 36 *(16/12) = 48 kg

Therefore weight of 8 16 year old boys would be: 8*48  = 384 kg
