There are many rational numbers between these limits, so let’s pick some equally spaced ones.

  1. Between -1 and -2 we have -1.25, -1.50 and -1.75.
  2. Between 0.1 and 0.11 we have 0.1025, 0.1050, 0.1075.
  3. Between 5/7 and 6/7. We can write these as 20/28 and 24/28, so we pick 21/28, 22/28=11/14 and 23/28.
  4. Between 1/4 and 1/5. We write these as 5/20 and 4/20. Then we take it a step further and change to 20/80 and 16/80. We can pick 17/80, 18/80=9/40 and 19/80.
