I am trying to slove for h which is height. the fromula  I am using is  h=d-gd(sqd) divided by v(sqd)

h=height

d =distance in meters =1645.92ms

v=speed of projectile in meters per sec=262.128mps

g= constant 9.8ms(sqd)

h=d-gd²/v² with d=1645.92m, v=262.128m/s, g=9.8m/s².

h=1259.538m approx. Is there a coefficient missing? h=d-½gd²/v²?

If so, h=1452.729m.

(s=vt-½gt² is the usual equation. But vt=d so t=d/v and t²=d²/v². So s=d-½gd²/v².)
