p²(3p²+pq-10q²)=p²(3p-5q)(p+2q). The HCF of the terms is p², so it’s taken outside the rest of the expression in parentheses, and the inner terms are accordingly adjusted. Then it’s just a matter of factorising the contents of the parentheses.
