Cross-multiply: 100(y+55)=55y, 100y+5500=55y, 45y+5500=0, 45y=-5500, y=-5500/45=-1100/9.

However, 100(x+55)=55y, 100x+5500=55y or 20x+1100=11y has an infinite number of solutions and can be represented by a straight line graph. Note that the straight line would have a hole in it at y=0, that is, at the point (-55,0).
