In a certain map, 1/5 of an inch represents 10 miles of actual distance. If two towns are 2 inches apart in the map, what is the actual distance between them?

I solved and got an answer of 100 miles. Answer key shows 50 miles. Answer would be 50 miles only if i divide 100 by 50. What is the right answer? If it's 5p miles, why should I divide it 100 by 2?
