Think of the pie as a circle. A whole pie represents an angle of 360°, so half a pie is 180° and 30° is mum's slice. That leaves 150° of pie for you and your little brother. We can divide that into three slices of 50° each, that's two for you (100° slice) and one for your brother (50° slice).
