secα=-13/12, cosα=-12/13, sinα=√(1-(12/13)2)=5/13. (Sine is positive for angles between 90° and 180°, while cosine and tangent are negative.)

cotα=cosα/sinα=(-12/13)(13/5)=-12/5.

1-cotα=1+12/5=17/5=3.4.
