If you invite 24 guests you will have prepared 2×24+2x servings, where x is the number of people who are not guests, but are already in the house, including yourself. An additional guest means you need 2×25+2x servings. So you need 50+2x-(48-2x)=50+2x-48-2x=2 extra servings.
