7-4+3x0+1=2?

Parenthesis: none

Exponents: none

Multiplication: 3x0=0

Division: none

Addition 4+1=5

Subtraction 7-5

7-4+3x0+1=4

Because of PEMDAS: (P)arentheses (E)xponents (M)ultiplication (D)ivision A(ddition) S(ubtraction). Multiplication is basically equal to division, so you answer the equation in the way you read (left to right), if the problem presents multiplication first, you solve it however if the problem has division first, you solve it for division and the same rule applies for addition and subtraction.

So 7-4+3x0+1 will equal 4 because

3x0=0 (Multiplication, no division exists in this problem)

7-4=3 (Subtraction is first because you are doing it from the way you read left to right and subtraction comes before addition in this problem)

3+0+1=4 (Addition came after subtraction, so it is the last to be solved in this problem. And 3+0=3, 3+1=4.)

This is proof that 7-4+3x0+1=4, not any higher or lower than 4.

7-4+3X0+1  =  4+0+1   =   7-5   ANSWER=2.          FIRST I USE PEMDAS BY WORKING THE MULTIPLICATION PART FIRST THEN I ADD THEN I SUBTRACT AND THATS HOW I GOT MY ANSWER,  P= PERENTICES, E=EXPONENT, M=MULTIPLICATION, D=DIVISION, A=ADDITION, S=SUBTRACTION. FOLLOW THE STEPS AND YOU WILL BE ALL RIGHT,WISH YOU ALL THE BEST.

7-4+3x0+1=4

Using order of operations the way you get "2" would be -4+1 which equals -3 and since the 7 is a positive number it would then be -3+7 which still ='s 4. Literally so simple it hurts me to see so many people getting it wrong
by
7-4+3x0+1=7-4+(3x0)+1

7-4+(3x0)+1=7-4+0+1

7-4+0+1=3+1

3+1=4

The rule of PEMDAS states that Multiplication and Division are ranked equally, but rank higher than Addition and Subtraction.  It also states that Addition and Subtraction are equally ranked.  Keeping that rule in mind, 7-4+0+1 is solved left to right since Addition and Subtraction is what is left in the equation. The final answer is 4.

You have to use the order of operations (PEMDAS, Parenthesis, Exponent, Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction) So the problem actually reads 3x0=0, then 7-4+0+1=4

by
this is wrong....remember PEMDAS
by
It's not 1.

You have to use BODMAS (Brackets, Power, Division, Multiplication, Addition and Subtraction)

However, you may either do division or mulitiplaction first and addition or substraction first.

7-4+3x0+1

=7-4+0+1
=3+0+1
=4

Therefore, the answer is 4.

PEMDAS-multiply first:3*0=0

7-4+0+1=the answer is 4

The answer is 4 once the multification is done first you have zero. The you add and subtract from left to right 7-4=3........then 3+0+1=4 simple and all these other answers just show why we are behind in america. But i would say more 3rd graders would get this right then thier parents
