1 Answer

(2x3 − 3x2 + x − 6) ÷ (x − 4)

other way of solving

it's hard to type the usual one

i forgot what it's called

2      -3      1      -6                         4

____8__20__84

2       5     21     78

bring down the first and then times the divisor which is 4 and then add with the next number and so on

the last number will be the remainder

the variable of the first one is the higher exponent minus 1 and so on

the answer is

2x^2 + 5x + 21       r. 78
