start:  5^2x=12

take logs av both sides

log(sumthang^els)=els*log(sumthun)

yu get 2x*log(5)=log(12)

thus, 2x=log(12)/log(5)=1.0791812/0.6989007=1.5441124

x=1.544/2=0.7722212
