What is the fifth root of -64?

Now, 2^6 = 64

So let x^5 = 64

Then x = 2^(6/5)

Now just take the negative of it.

Let x = -2^(6/5)

Check

x^5 = (-2^(6/5)^5 = (-1)^5*(2^(6/5)^5 = -1*64

x^5 = -64
