i don't know how to do it i'm confused with the d equals 6 and a equals 7

So "d" means 6 so you would have 2(6) which means that you will be multiplying 2 times 6 which equals 12. Then take the 12 and add "a" which is 7. Now you would add 12+7 which is 19. Then last, you are subtracting 6 from 19, which equals 13. So this means that your answer would be 13.
