Find the coordinates for D if E is the midpoint of CD for C( -3,4) and E ( 0,1)

E is the midpoint of CD and find the coordinates of D

The change from C to E, x-coordinate, is -3 to 0, change of +3.

The change from E to D, x-coordinate, is also +3, from 0 to 3.

The x-coordinate of D is 3.

The change from C to E, y-coordinate, is 4 to 1, change of -3.

The change from E to D, y-coordinate, is also -3, from 1 to -2.

The y-coordinate of D is -2.

D is at (3,-2).
