So I got into a new math class, and its' algebra. So for homework today I had to solve

7=|13x+9|+7

I'm not sure if I'm doing it right, but I got

x=3; x=-3

7=abs(13x+9) +7

0=abs(13x+9)

0=-0, so 13x+9=0

or 13x=-9

x=-9/13
