Let the blue marbles be x

Red marbles = 6 + x

Green marbles = x - 4

According to the statement

x + (6 + x) + (x - 4) = 50

x + x + x + 6 - 4 = 50

3x + 2 = 50

3x = 50 - 2

3x = 48

x = 48/3

x = 16

So, the no. of blue marbles = 16
