2x+7y=-7. First subtract 2x from both sides of the equation. This will leave you with

7y=-2x-7. Remember, the sign changes when you transfer to the other side of the

equation. Now, divide all three answers by 7. This will leave you with

y=-2/7x-1. Thus the slope of the problem is -2/7(answer)
