first, get senter angel=360 deg/n=360/8=45 deg

outside angel=senter angel=45 deg.

Then inside angel=180-45 =135 deg

For any regular polygon, the internal angle, A, of any n-sided polygon is given by A = 180 - 360/n.  Conversely, if we are given the internal angle, A, then the number of sides is gioven by  n = 360/(180-A).  With n = 8, then A = 135° and the external angle is 45°.
